Progressive Global energy are recruiting on behalf of a leading supplier of Process weighing and control solutions to a wide spectrum of industries.I am looking for a Sales Engineer to join a small team in Sevenoaks - this is a FIELD based position and does NOT require the candidate to be based in Sevenoaks.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, the successful candidates will be responsible for generating new end-user and OEM business, together with support of some existing customers.
The Sales Engineer will be required to work on their own initiative to identify opportunities, produce proposals/quote, negotiate, close business and obtain orders in order to achieve continued year on year growth.
Main duties & Responsibilities:
-Seek opportunities for Components, Systems, Service & Support
-Day to Day prospecting using data base information provided and use initiative to uncover opportunities from other industry and market sources
-Provide the best technical and commercial solution for the application
Generate own proposals and quotations
Qualifications - External
-The ideal candidate will have previous experience in new business development and selling.
-Knowledge of Industrial Weighing equipment, Process Control systems, Beltweighers and Boiler Leak Detection systems is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
-A technical background or related technical qualification in Electrical, Control or Instrumentation Engineering would also be a benefit.
