I am looking for an experienced Content and Copywriting professional to join a top bank based in Leeds. The role will require you to come on board and help them with a new project within their business. This is a fantastic opportunity for a content and copywriting professional to own and become the focal point for copy, within a growing team of design professionals in a, creative and passionate environment.Requirements for the role:
Writing & reviewing, engaging, beautifully constructed copy across multiple brands and a variety of digital channels.
To write with speed, consistency, accuracy and creative flair.
Ensuring timely sign off on copy - responding positively to stakeholder feedback and re-drafting copy (while retaining its impact) to meet their comments.
Working with other Design Team members and amending / signing off copy written by them.
Conduct research to ensure copy is accurate and relevant to the target audience
Stay current with digital and social media trends and best practices and incorporate those learnings into the sub editing function.
Experience required:
Proven experience working as a sub editor with a strong focus on digital copy.
Phenomenal attention to detail
Confidence in delivering exceptional work with a positive attitude.
Ability to juggle numerous tasks and deliver.
Commercial exposure to content and copy in a digital area ideally within a heavily regulated sector
The ability to find the right angle to tell an interesting and energetic story
An entrepreneurial approach with a huge passion for problem solving and innovation
Ability to work independently as well in a highly creative & collaborative, team-based environment
The right candidate will have proven experience performing these actions at a high level whilst working within a banking setting.
Contract Role:
Location- Leeds
Initially 6 months (with scope to extend)
