Senior Authorised PersonScope of work
A safety critical Senior Authorised Person is required to work on a contract basis at 132kV/275kV.
You will:
- Serve as a point of contact for contractors on site with any matters of safety on the equipment.
- Ensure the correct PTW and SFT information is processed
- Liaise with DNO contacts clearly and coherently
- Be fully authorised with SPEN for full SAP duties
- Incident free history
The Company
This is a subcontractor for SPEN that is well known within the Transmission and Distribution industry - you will be working directly for them. They work successfully in placing contractors across varying DNOs and have an excellent reputation for their safe and reliable work.
Desired Skills
To be considered for this role you must hold an active SPEN SAP authorisation. It is beneficial if this is HV but any kV authorisation could be considered. Please note this is substation work.
You will have sound technical knowledge of the transmission and distribution networks, as well as experience with the apparatus and control systems.
You must be flexible with your working week and have a full, clean, driving license.
