Modis is working in partnership with our client, a local authority to recruit a Contracts Manager. The Contract Manager shall own and take responsibility for the contract management function, including developing systems and processes. The role will also undertake contract management function. The principle responsibility for this role is managing the relationships with external providers and is the officer responsible managing these arrangements/contracts and to ensure that the required outcomes are delivered. The role works along sides other officers/teams in the development of service strategies, procurement and service delivery

Experience Required

  • Experience of contract management in a local authority
  • Experience of working within adult care services.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development/training
  • Experience of working in an inter-agency setting or in multi-disciplinary teams or partnerships
  • Performance Management experience
  • A clear understanding and knowledge of issues relating to social care
  • Knowledge base in relation to local government duties and responsibilities including legislative context and initiatives
  • Knowledge of contract management techniques and processes
