Job Description:
My client is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join their team in Dublin as a Senior Linux Consultant as soon as possible.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage and Operate a large Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment of RHEL environments comprising of:
-
Approx 100 x Physical and Virtual deployments (VMWare)
-
EMC Networker for Backup & Recovery
-
Over 150TB of 3PAR and EVA SAN Storage
-
-
Must have excellent experience working on SAN fabrics, with practical reference to SAN Storage products
-
Must be capable of provisioning SAN storage, building RHEL on physical and Virtual architectures, and incorporating into Networker with RMAN for Oracle
-
A good working knowledge building and managing VMware environments
-
Excellent Troubleshooting skills, Incident and problem resolution, maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction possible

Beneficial to have experience with Oracle RAC on RHEL
-
Skills/Knowledge Transfer
-
Document Best practices for RHEL and all related operational tasks
-
Preventative maintenance tasks to ensure IT systems are operational and secure and to prevent future incidents
-
Willingness to work overtime when required
-
Must be willing to join a 1:4 support rota
Experience Required:
This is a Technical position and the nominated resources would need to have the following experience:

Minimum Red Hat Certified Administrator

Experience working on technologies detailed above to a 2nd level support capability
