My Client is seeking an Electrical Installation - Configuration Engineer to join their team in Derby.From their Derby base, they design and manufacture complex mechanical and electrical systems
Position Summary
This role requires an engineer who can:
- Understand DOORS Requirements
- Be able to review the requirements
- Structure these requirements in DOORS
- Provide satisfactory arguments
- Provide technical expertise to close out ongoing or unplanned action
- See To-Do' List and keep up to date
- See task allocation list and keep up to date
- Configuration Control
- Attend project meetings
- Coordinate electrical installation - determine affected products and documents
- Collate electrical installation costs
- Update CRFs
- Attend MABs
- Produce and manage modification instructions
- Ensure configuration scope alignment and this is common across all zones within the electrical installation team
- Manage Mod Strike' statusMinimum of 3 years in a relevant role
Experience using Catia V5 - EWB in an Electrical Harness Design environment
