I have an exceptional new opportunity working for a world leading investment bank. My client is looking for an experienced database developer to enhance the platform for performing Real Time data quality checks, batch DQ checks for Trades from various asset types and data stores. eg Equities Cash, Fixed Income Cash, Interest Rates Swaps, Loans, Equity Derivatives and others. This is a unique opportunity to work on transactional large databases with multiple asset classes, working with various business users, reference data users and finance. You will contribute to build an architecture that will scale for the DQ requirement across majority of the firm data
The right candidate will have experience in one or more database platforms like DB2 on Linux (UDB), Columnar databases like Greenplum, Scripting languages like Perl, Datamodelling of STAR schemas and ability to learn new technologies
Key Skills:
- DB2 Linux
- Columnar databases (eg Greenplum)
- Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL
- Scripting - Perl and UNIX
If you have the following it will be advantageous:
- .KDB
- Informatica
- Performance and Tuning
- Tableau, BOXI
- Experience with large data systems
