Sales Executive

Salary: up to £80,000, OTE £160,000

Location: London

Are you a top-performing sales professional with a passion for, and experience in selling, Salesforce, CRM or ERP software?

My client is regarded as one of the leading and most innovative Salesforce consulting partners in the UK. Due to continued success, they are looking for an experienced sales professional to join their dynamic team.

You will be responsible for achieving maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned product portfolio, by effectively selling the company's products and services to both existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach.

Working with this top-tier Salesforce partner, you will be able to make an impact on the most visible projects for prestigious global brands, and play a key role in the continued success of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research sources for developing prospective customers.
  • Analyse the market's potential and determine the value of existing and prospective customers' value to the organisation.
  • Keep abreast of salesforce and other appropriate technology advancements, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through reading relevant media and literature, and building relationships with other professionals and experts in the community.
  • Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current customers and prospective customers to generate new business for the organisation's products/services.
  • Make telephone calls, in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers.
  • Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers.
  • In collaboration with a Sales Engineer, organise demonstrations of products and services to existing and potential customers to assist them in selecting a solution that suits their needs.
  • Identify advantages and provide comparisons on the organisation's products and services.
  • Plan and organise your own personal sales strategy and budget, ensuring this supports the overall Strategy and Budget of the organisation.
  • Provide oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Own the lifecycle of an opportunity from lead through to closure.
  • Participate in industry trade shows and conventions.

Key Requirements:

  • A proven track record in Salesforce related sales (annual sales of £1M or more).
  • Able to hit the ground running with an established network of contacts both within the salesforce community as well as with potential new customers.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to network and build rapport with clients and third parties and develop this into long lasting and profitable relationships.
  • Self-motivating, team-player, able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Good planning and organisational skills with a demonstrated ability to work calmly under pressure.
  • Able to think strategically while maintaining focus on results and execution.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience within a variety of industries, with experience and/or understanding of salesforce products and platforms including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Force, Apex and VisualForce, etc.
  • Strong IT, budget and proposal writing skills.
  • Able to travel.
