Description
For one of my best client based in Brussels, I am currently looking for a BODS Consultant for a 36 months contract.
The consultant's main tasks will be assisting the client Business Intelligence specialists with:
Implementation of ETL-processes based on BODS for the client Datawarehouse
Assisting in the upgrade of BODS procedures from R3 to R4
Advice on setting up the BODS-ETL-infrastructure, and its integration within the existing IT infrastructure.
Knowledge transfer to the Business Intelligence specialists on BODS, including advice on best practices.
Deliverables:
ETL development
technical analysis
technical documentation
test reports
In depth knowledge and at least 3 years' experience with Business Objects Data Services (BODS) R3 or later.
In depth knowledge of Datawarehouse and Business Intelligence concepts, incl. dimensional modelling, star schema design and the definition of ETL-processes.
In depth knowledge of relational database systems and writing performant query's, with at least 3 years' experience with SQL Server.
Knowledge of SAS development, BOXI (universe/report design) and VB.NET is considered as an advantage.
The chosen candidate will also act as a coach towards the Client Business Intelligence specialists and should as such have good communication skills.
