My client has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Data Analyst on a 6 month contract based in Dublin South.

My client is a leading global Insurance company who serve commercial, institutional and individual customers.
Role Purpose:
You will be working as part of a global data team, working closely with partner programs to gather and document requirements - business, functional and data.
Responsibilities:
- Gather systems and data requirements through workshops and meetings
- Document and coordinate reviews and approvals
- Prepare and collate data mapping matrices, identifying gaps and working with all stakeholders to facilitate formal reviews and approvals
- Deliver high quality documentation for business requirements, functional design specifications and required project presentations
- Represent and act as a Senior team liaison with other strategic initiatives, programs, stakeholders, business reps and functional staff for in-scope work
Skills/Competencies required:
- Excellent communication skills are essential
- Data analysis skills - SQL, Access, Excel or similar
- Fast paced environment, must be able to work under pressure. High levels of enthusiasm, commitment and energy required.
- Must be flexible to travel as and when required (limited duration)
- Strong communication skills required
Experience required:
- Degree in a related discipline, eg Business Information Systems
- 5 years' + full life cycle experience in an IT role
- Background in working in data projects in a complex integrated systems environment
- International environment experience an advantage and experience in Insurance/Financial services preferable
