Description
A leading, worldwide investment management firm urgently require a Senior Corporate Actions Analyst to begin working on a contract basis. This role will be based within the companies Corporate Actions department, a 240 person strong team, and will report directly into the Corporate Actions Manager.
The department that the individual will be joining is a key element to the business' day to day functions, and runs globally across the business. Externally, it involves servicing the needs of the customers, maintaining close relationships with auditors and custodians daily and acting in the best possible interests of the investors, all of which will bring about wealth, opportunities and reward.
The key aspect to this role is the identification of corporate action events, keeping track of them, processing them and then filing reports on them. The focus of these 'events' will be based around Fixed Income and derivative products.
With the above in mind, this role requires the following skill set:
- A strong background working in Financial Services ONLY
- Consistent roles as a Corporate Actions Analyst
- Experience of using SWIFT (MT)
- Experience of Fixed Income and derivative type products
- Experience of announcement capture
