A Software Team Lead is required by global leading semiconductor organisation on a long term contract basis in the Netherlands. Their systems are used by the major semiconductor manufacturers to create integrated circuits that power an array of electronic, communications and IT products. The successful candidate will have a chance to work with state of the art technology and work alongside world-class engineers. This is a long term contract turn permanent position.Job Responsibilities
• As the Software Team Lead, you will be responsible for realisation of the associated software functionality. Furthermore, you will develop the team and coach team members in their professional development.
• The Software Team Lead will need to have the required experience with Object-Oriented software development, in order to guide the evolution of the software platform. The Software Team Lead guide software realisation using .NET software technology and apply a scrum based, agile way of working. In addition you challenge and support the associated software technology roadmap and its updates. You will also take part in software development.
• Furthermore, you will take the initiative in team development, by means of sprint evaluation, quality monitoring, and participating in the platform level software development meeting. In the latter, you will represent your team’s stakes and team members’ needs.
• By assisting the group leader in setting targets for team members and coaching them in their contribution and professional development, you will co-develop team capability. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are crucial. You will work towards meeting expectations and remain flexible. Job Requirements
• BSc or MSc in computer science, mathematics, or electronics.
• Must have 5-10 years in object oriented development of technical software for high-tech equipment
• Must have experience in Agile software development way of working, including pair programming
• At least 1 year as scrum master
• Strong C# experience
