An energy company within the Power Distribution sector need a Costing/Revenue Analyst to join the team fro a 6mth contract based in London.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the new process to be deployed in the day to day operations of mobile generator deployment that is needed in the Power Distribution sector in the UK
  • Overall programme management lead and support for the programme
  • Provide status updates to the Customer operations team
  • Define the process and governance controls needed in BAU generator deployment operations for effective cost optimisation and savings
  • Lead the deployment of the new field related business process and the operational controls that are needed to meet operational cost reduction targets defined by the business
  • Liaison with all the floor walkers and field deployment staff
  • Establish the cost savings roadmap for the Customer and overall responsible for the process to track day to day cost savings against the cost baseline established
  • Generate MI reports and dashboards needed for reporting
  • Raw Operational ground Data consolidation and analysis
  • Deploy a Six Sigma rigor in qualitative and quantitative analysis needed for the project
  • Experience

    • Experience having developed and successfully deployed a field operational process that has delivered over £5,000,000 annual savings to the customer
    • Sound knowledge of the power distribution sector in the UK
    • Excellent understanding of the RIIO-EDI, CI and CML impact
    • Excellent understanding of a the faults and planned works process of a power distribution company
    • Sound Knowledge of using Six Sigma in operational process improvement programme (DMAIC)
    • Develop and maintain excellent client relationships
    • Proactively monitor costs and savings
    • Ability to undertake strategic customer studies, DILO (Day in the life of) assessments, strategic operational efficiency improvement programmes
    • Match resources to work programmes in a timely manner
    • Maintain strong lines of communication
    • Initiate & encourage continuous improvement
