Job Description:
Will be a key contributor to the Imaging of future products. The Engineer will be part of a team that owns all aspects of the tuning of the system for Images and Video. They will play an integral part in ensuring Image Quality standards of the products the team delivers.

Scope of Responsibilities:
  • Required to practice and develop objective image quality measurement tools and methodologies for comprehensive quantification of camera system image quality.
  • Candidate will establish and run Imaging Teams Advanced Psychometrics Laboratory.
  • Will establish soft copy ruler methodologies to visual statistical measurements of IQ across range of relevant IQ attributes including but not limited to Color, Tone, Noise, and Sharpness.
SKILLS:

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Imaging Science, Color Science, EE or Computer Engineering 10 years relevant industry experience required.
  • Masters Degree in Imaging Science, Color Science, Optics, EE or Computer Engineering, or PhD Degree Experience with Code V, Zemax or equivalent, Matlab, C/C and statistical analysis like ANOVA, Image Processing preferred.
  • Familiarity with Image Quality standards and Camera Phone Image Quality Metrics. Passion for Imaging/Photography Familiarity with MEMS a plus.
  • Candidate will have deep familiarity with both objective and visual subjective image quality measurement techniques.
  • Deep familiarity with objective metrics including MTF/SFR.
  • Tonescale, Signal/Noise, Noise Power Spectrum, Dynamic Range, Color Fidelity Distortion, Texture Detail.
  • Deep familiarity with quantitative visual image quality testing.
