Site Design Engineer, Madrid
We are looking for a Site Design Engineer for a contract working for an international mobile telecommunications provider based in Madrid.
The organisation is a world-leading telecommunications solutions provider serving 35 of the world's top 50 telecom operators, their products and solutions are deployed in over 100 countries. Over 1 billion people globally are communicating using the organisations telecom products and solutions.
The role of the Site Design Engineer is to work on a RAN refresh project for one of the carriers supported by the operator's equipment.
Duties will include;
- Manage the design and surveying process
- Review and approve the quantities and costs of the materials required
- Conduct site inspections to ensure works are being completed in line with the project scope
- Liaise with the organisations partners throughout the design and build process
We are looking for Site Design Engineers that have skills in the following areas.
- Educated in structural or civil engineering or equivalent
- Site design experience gained within the telecom industry or consultancy
- Proficient in survey and design tools, CAD and MS Office software
- Strong negotiation and client facing skills
