Media Deformation Researcher

Introduction:

In the project, 1 FTE is needed for work on the topic "Media Deformation Analysis".

The printer development of concern has, while printing on paper (=media) with aquaeous ink, to cope with all kinds of media deformation issues (eg by ink, from handling/transport, etc).

In the printer development media deformation is measured and logged.

Based on the logging issues in the printer development within R&D and performance of comparable printers placed at customers has to be investigated.

Position's main tasks:

1. Analysis of media deformation performance (days, weeks, months) on printer developments within R&D and on comparable printers placed at customers.
-requires affinity with data analysis (software) and development of new data processing scripts.
2. Analysis of specific media deformation issues
- requires affinity with doing research with (printer) test setups.
3. Investigate & improving media deformation research tests
-requires affinity with doing research and statistics.

Required area of education: physics (Bachelor or Master)
Professional skills: Physics and software affinity
Behavioral skills: Team player, self reliant
Field of experience: Data analysis, research, statistics
