A Senior Application Engineer is required by a global leading microelectronics organisation in The Netherlands, on a contract to permanent basis. My client is a successful leader in developing low power mixed-signal integrated circuits. The successful candidate will have a chance to work with state of the art technology and work alongside world-class engineers.Job Responsibilities
The Senior Application Engineer will be responsible for the verification and validation of integrated circuits. The day-to-day activities consist of:
• Execution of measurements and interpretation of measurement results.
• Writing of test reports.
• Customer application support.
Skills Requirements
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. with a study package that includes, amongst others, analog and RF circuit design, analog/digital modulation methods and signal processing techniques.
• Knowledge on receiver performance aspects like noise intermodulation, desensitisation and selectivity.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in RF-IC applications is hard demand.
• Capable of determining receiver performance and familiar with receiver measurement techniques. It is an advantage when the candidate is familiar with AM/FM radio and their implications for receiver requirements.
• Experience in working in projects and should be a team player.
• Good communication skills, customer responsiveness and fluent in English.
• Flexible in reacting on changes in work planning and priority setting and willing to travel incidentally.
