KYC Senior Analyst: Customer Due Diligence: Energy Trading/Oil and Gas
World Leading Global Energy Trading Company has an exciting opportunity for an KYC Senior Analyst to manage the Know Your Counterparty (KYC) and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) process of higher risk counterparties for this Trading Organisation.
About the Role:
- Ensure and complete the Know Your Counterparty (KYC) reviews and complete the Customer Due Diligence (CDD)
- Perform the AML/CDD due diligence checks to verify the identity of new clients
- Request and check the necessary company documentation
- Promote the understanding and knowledge of CDD requirements to the traders and other areas of the business
- Prepare and maintain appropriate records to evidence all the above.
About You:
- Minimum of 2 years AML/KYC experience
- Ability to deliver on the accountabilities and responsibilities using sound judgment.
- Strong analytical/financial skills and the ability to identify cause-effect relationships, patterns, implications of data, and be able to integrate pieces into a meaningful whole.
- Experience in compliance programs, controls, credit, internal/external audit and/or assurance activities.
- Strong commitment to compliance with strong relationship and influencing skills and the ability to address issues.
- Strong knowledge/understanding of Anti-Money Laundering.
- Solid academic background, ideally with recognised professional qualification relevant to the area of KYC or Compliance
- Trading or related industry experience
