Description

An Offshore Wind Energy Operator is looking for multiple Offshore Commissioning Engineers to work on an offshore wind farm project in the German North Sea on a 2 week rotation. The engineers will be commissioning LV and MV Systems in the TP, and completing MV switching operations. The load port is Esbjerg (Denmark). Good German language skills is a pre-requisite.

Responsibilities
Commissioning works at each TP, needed LoTo systems to operate, support the Offshore Turbine Manufacturer for their tasks at the TP
Switching operations for first energisation of 36kV switchgears, including "Schaltgespräche"
Report all activities and observations made through the DPR to the "Anlagenverantwortliche" on the hotel vessel
Experience with "Omicron" protection measurement equipment
Ensure that the HSSE requirements from all parties are fully met
Record all such activities on the vessel or during the installation
Assist in solving interface problems during commissioning and turbine installation

Interfaces: ELE, WTG, Logistics - Package Team/Project Quality Assurance Manager/Project Team/Supplier/Contractors/Certification Body/

Requirements
Commissioning of all electrical systems in the TP.
Knowledge of German electrical safety rules.
Switching allows for 36kV Systems (MV)
5 years+ offshore experience
Good Understanding of offshore operations, including electrical TP systems, logistics, integrity and maintenance.
Previous experience as company/client representative.
Good German (Schaltgespräche) and English written and oral communication skills.

All offshore safety courses in valid status for the operation, including:
Offshore Medical
Working at height
First Aid
Sea Survival according to GWO standard

Skills & Qualification
University degree in Electrical engineering
Quality control method and skills, APQP, FMEA, Fault tree
Quality Manager or six sigma black belt
Project Management skills - CAPM or PMP certificate or similar
Knowledge of Non Conformity Management Process
Knowledge of Siprotec protection equipment
Standard Microsoft Office environment, EDM system
German and English language skills (TOEFL score > 80; ZD, DSH or TestDaF certificate)
