For a project at our banking client site in Zurich, we are looking for an experiencedIT Project Manager for the Exposure Management Area (2599)
Treasury IT is looking for a talented individual for the IT Project Manager role in the exposure management area.
The exposure management is one of the key functions of Treasury, which concentrates on the management of FX & Interest Rate risk on bank’s net P&L.
This is a role for someone who enjoys working in a cross-functional team, enjoys variety and can handle changing job requirements.
The primary responsibility of the role is to effectively manage the shared objectives and successfully delivered them to the highest possible quality, on time & within budget.
Your responsibilities:
• Direct and manage project development from beginning to end
• Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with management and front-to-back stakeholders
• Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents
• Effectively communicate project expectations to cross-functional team members and front-to-back stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
• Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis to determine priorities, identify issues & ensure communication within the project and to external stakeholders
• Handle Project Review Board (PRB) and ensure compliance with our clients Solution Delivery Framework
• Actively identify, raise and mitigate potential compliance & control issues/risks
• Where required, negotiate with other department managers for the acquisition of required personnel from within the bank
• Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work
• Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project
Your qualifications:
• Master/Graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or equivalent education
• 5+ years’ experience as an IT Project Manager, preferably within the banking environment
• Excellent knowledge of standard IT project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall); a certification in project management is beneficial
• Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
• Experience in identifying, analyzing and mitigating cross-functional project risks
• Drive for high quality and working with other organizational units to achieve common goals
• Experience in working with outsourced delivery partners
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with high power of abstraction to adapt the communication to various stakeholders
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; German is a plus
• Open-minded team player, enthusiastic and motivated personality with a can-do attitude and a track record of addressing complex challenges
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment, and deliver results within tight schedules
