Description
We are seeking a Report Developer who will work a contract assignment in Kennesaw. We are seeking an SQL Server Report Developer who will be part of a team to design and develop reports using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services 2008 (SSRS). This person is expected to have high proficiency in the analysis and design of report requirements. Top candidates will be proficient with writing SQL queries from scratch.
Daily responsibilities will include:
- Develop report requirements including report mockups.
- Analyze complex data systems and document data elements, data flow, relationships and make recommendations based on findings.
- Assist in creation of ad hoc reports using regular expressions and consistent with business needs using SQL Server Reporting Services 2008.
- Design and develop stored procedures and views necessary to support SSRS Managed reports.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field is required for this position
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services 2008
- 3+ years experience utilizing SSRS filters, group by, drill down, charts, graphs, aggregates, and basic statistics (percentages, averages, medians).
- 3+ years experience with Visual Studio 2008 development with a concentration in Report Projects, and Visual SourceSafe and report deployment.
- Proficiency with XML (Report Definition Language).
- Must be proficient with writing SQL queries.
- 3+ years experience with SQL 2008 Server programming, stored procedures, datasets and shared connections.
- Ability to design and develop Visual Basic custom code for reports and stored functions.
- 3+ years experience with Microsoft Active Directory and SSRS Security site management with proven experience in delivering report solutions.
- Experience with both dimensional and relational 3rd normal form data models
- Experience in Crystal Reports, Business Objects and Crystal Enterprise a plus.
- Advanced skills in Excel data functionality and data-modelling is desirable.
