A leading innovative company in south central Dublin is seeking a Creative Artworker. This role will report to the Graphic Design Team Lead to create finished artwork for print.
The team is made up of a group of highly talented developers, designers, marketers, analysts and technology enthusiasts.
Creative Artworker Role
The ideal candidate will be creative, with a passion for modern layout and compelling design. You will be from an artwork or creative foundation background, with experience in a design studio environment.
You will work closely with the design team lead, and be confident interpreting design briefs and adapting them to create artwork for print. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, comfortable working to strict branding guidelines, and fit well into a small team. The guidelines will range across all styles - experience solving creative problems will be key.
Projects and tasks to include:
- Preparing and submitting finished artwork for print
- Taking design briefs and resizing templates to adhere to guidelines
- Taking finished designs and creating multiple templates
- Uploading finished designs to our Admin Panel and testing them through multiple devices
- Updating the card catalogue with new designs
- Research competitors to ensure our design and styles are modern, relative and competitive
Requirements:
- Possess relevant 3rd level qualifications
- Formal design training
- Adobe Creative Suite products - Illustrator is essential
- Personal URL/Portfolio required
- The hiring manager is really eager to bring someone on board quickly
