I am looking to hire a Financial Accountant for our Public sector client
Overview:
This is a temporary post in the Finance Team to support a due diligence process, month end and statutory reporting and provide reconciliations for balance sheet control accounts.
Main duties:
Due Diligence
- Populating the data room with requested financial reports and analysis.
- Undertaking ad hoc financial analysis.
Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Ensure all balance sheet control accounts reconciled.
- Update and maintain comprehensive reconciliation file suitable for audit.
- Review and amend processes and compile work instructions.
Statutory reporting
- Support the FC with the preparation of quarterly consolidated accounts and annual statutory reporting.
- Support the MA with monthly KPI/Client analysis and reporting.
- Preparation of statutory gross margin analysis.
- Prepare/update work instructions.
Essential Experience:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Excellent organisational skills;
- Accuracy and attention to detail are vital;
- Good knowledge of ICT systems (SUN & RAM would be desirable).
- Flexible attitude.
