The Data Modeler will design a database to capture these data elements; and in addition, design and establish a link to the Technology Resources Inventory database used during the bi-annual process to collect computer devices, bandwidth capacity, wireless capacity, digital tools, and professional development activities within the districts and schools. The purpose of linking the databases is for analytical reporting and sharing of data elements within applications.
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
- 4 to 6+ years of experience in Datamodelling, data analysis, relational DBMS design and support and relevant computing environments with MS SQL products inclusive of MS SQL 2008
- Experience as MS SQL database analyst inclusive of data design/modelling, monitoring, and performance tuning.
- 4 to 6+ years of experience with SQL programming inclusive of stored procedures, functions, triggers, DTS packages, scheduled jobs, and linked Servers.
- 4 to 6+ years of experience with SQL relational databases, OLTP and DSS, serving in high performance, service-oriented, multi-tiered environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, Project, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with DBMS Standards, Best Practices, Terms, Tools are required
- Experience as Agile Data Modeler desired.
- Ability to work well in a team environment with education and technology solutions.
