An exciting opportunity has arisen for a C#/SQL Developer to further their career in the Investment Banking industry.

Role:

  • The candidate will be required to make enhancements to existing Prime Swap applications. The applications are written in C# and SQL. The candidate's primary responsibility is to develop C# code including GUI applications (WPF and Infragistics) and middle tier services (Web Services, Win Services). Strong technical knowledge is required in core C#, objected oriented design, design patterns, multi-threading, WPF, WCF, and performance tuning.
  • The candidate will be required to have strong database skills and able to work on database related projects.
  • The candidate will be required work closely with the development teams, testing teams and business users in all regions throughout the life cycle of projects to ensure that the requirements are being correctly interpreted.
  • Design, document, implement, test, and release to the highest possible standard, with attention to detail.
  • Financial domain knowledge is required. Keen interest to learn and understand the business product, analyse requirements and develop solutions to satisfy the business requirements.
  • To provide 3rd level production support following initial investigation and escalation from the onsite production support team.

Experience Need:

  • At least 3 years' experience in development of C#.
  • At least 1 year's financial industry experience.
  • Strong analytical and technology skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment and under strict deadlines.
  • Pro-active approach to problem solving. Self-starter.
  • Degree in Computer Science or associated subject.
