Skilled Engineer - Various Disciplines
A successful and ever growing FTSE 100 engineering support services organisation is looking to take on 8 engineers to work as quality controllers within an engineering environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to expand and progress their engineering career in a quality direction. QC or QA experience is not essential as there will be on the job training provided. The role will involve quality control inspections on board the QEC Class vessels to ensure work packages are carried out to the correct quality standards, as well as ensuring documentation is up to date and attending review meetings to advise as required.
A successful candidate would have;
- 5 years experience in an engineering trade.
- An engineering trade apprenticeship; constructive, painting, mechanical, electrical, multi-skill, fabricators etc would be considered
- Experience or knowledge of a ship environment; submarine/surface ship/marine/ex RN well suited.
- Good communication skills
- Proficient user of MS Office applications

- Working hours: Mon - Thurs 07:30-17:15, overtime is available
- 1 year FTC, potential for another year extension
- MUST BE ELIGIBLE FOR SECURITY CLEARANCE and ITAR
