For a client within the banking sector we are looking for aSenior IT Program Manager for the Desktop Program (2606)
In this exiting, challenging and rewarding role you will drive the desktop program for 65k desktop users and a variety of end user usage scenarios including requirements formalization, engineering delivery and quality phase gates, technology transformation, organizational transformation, and end user adoption in the desktop technology space. This program will be introducing a technology strategy transformation around the desktop offerings including changes to software provisioning, desktop OS and end-points in scope. This is a long term project.
The core responsibilities for this role will cover the following:
Program deliverables definition and formalizes acceptance of those requirements and deliverables accordingly
Manage the overall program plan
Manage the Engineering, Product Management and Operational streams
Manage PMO activities including STC, meeting structure and minutes, risks, issues and actions and dependencies management
Manage deliveries with differrent teams for new platform
Your Qualifications:
Long term experience in large organisations with a min. of 1000 employees. Preferred in financial, electricity or pharma sector
delivery focused individual
Technical Infrastructure project management experience
Experience in large scale infrastructure change initiatives
Agile mix of Program manager and Project Manager
Program management experience
End user technology project management skills: Desktop, Collaboration, Lync, Voice, Email, Instant Message
Stakeholder Management with a strong personality and a user first mentality
Provide leadership
