Omschrijving Senior DevOps Engineer (JEE/Webpshere) (QR2921):
For our client in Amsterdam we are looking for a highly skilled DevOps engineer with JEE infrastructure, Websphere and scheduling expertise. Object is to set up automatic scheduling, monitoring and high availability solutions for our Core Bank platform.
Algemene kennis/ervaring Senior DevOps Engineer (JEE/Webpshere) (QR2921):
Experience with working in DevOps teams.
Technische kennis/ervaring Senior DevOps Engineer (JEE/Webpshere) (QR2921):
5 years of experience in JEE infrastructure with at least a first experience in architecture.
Advanced knowledge of WebSphere Application Server, including clustering for high-availability and performance, administrative scripting, troubleshooting, as well as Java EE development best practices.
Knowledge of and experience with Tivoli Workload Scheduler.
Knowledge of OPS Wise is considered a significant pre
Familiar with web infrastructure devices, reverse proxies, authentication proxies (TAM).
Familiar with security schemes applied to the Web/Java worlds
Infrastructure design and architecture skills.
Experience as a java developer is considered a plus
Preferable also:
Shell scripting
Knowledgde of Java Messaging Service/MQ/Tibco
Knowledge/experience in SOA (service oriented architecture)
Experience in PERL & Python.

The client is setting up a new Core Bank platform, a backoffice platform for our Current Accounts, Savings and Loans products. One team is dedicated for setting up the automated deployment pipeline, including monitoring and scheduling and setting up various high availability solutions (e.g. Disaster Recovery in 10 seconds).
Werkzaamheden Senior DevOps Engineer (JEE/Webpshere) (QR2921):
You will be working on building the automated delivery pipeline and high availabiltiy solutions described above. You will be working in a small team with 5-10 other engineers using agile and DevOps practices.
