Initial 6 month contract ongoing

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Recruitment professional, to work onsite strategically to service our blue chip client based in North Cheshire. Reporting to the EMEA Recruitment Manager, you will work closely with the Hiring Managers across the whole infrastructure, to provide effective, consultative recruitment advice and delivery solutions.

The principal focus will be the management of the direct recruitment of high calibre candidates to fulfil the requirements specified by Hiring Managers. This activity should be executed using the most appropriate mediums (Internet/internal activity/Vendors/Advertising) and be as cost and quality effective as possible.

Responsibilities:

* Consulting and advising hiring managers on workable job specs, using a consultative approach to ensure that the hiring manager has the best possible chance of filling the role.

* Ensure that all recruitment information is stored and logged on the eRecruitment system.

* Constantly market the service to internal client stakeholders (hiring managers, HR and accounts payable) and external stakeholders (vendors) to maximise service usage

* Manage hiring manager expectations, giving constructive best practice advice.

* Managing candidate relationships. Including pre-screening candidates, telephone and face to face interviewing, progress updates and offer process

* Coordination of offer and start process, liaising with relevant teams to create a seamless employee introduction.

* Sourcing of candidates using main and niche channels (database research; job-board searching/networking; external agencies and press, social and multimedia advertising)

* Management of assessment tools and techniques, including competency identification and interviewing, psychometric tools and data and candidate assessment centres.

* Handling confidential data and information

* Taking ownership of tasks, using a proactive approach and initiative to seek out the best solution

* Provide a consultative professional service, ensuring reduction in time to hire, cost per hire etc.

* Strive to constantly improve the service through the use of technology, process and strategy.

* Provide reports to the client as specified by the client sponsor

Experience required:

A minimum of 3 years experience within a recruitment consultancy, within either a specialist skill field or as a generalist

Experience of managing high volume recruitment.

Creative knowledge of recruitment consultancy usage, Internet recruitment channels, and recruitment campaign management

A good proven track record of being involved within every aspect of the Recruitment Lifecycle, including the sourcing and selection of candidates.

This role is offered on a temporary basis, with the expectation of a permanent role.
