Job Description:This job requires collecting and entering data into a database that affects the correlation of engine/machine serial numbers and Flash files. A successful candidate will be required to work with the community of customer Electronics system coordinators, call center employees, and various other groups to collect this software file information. The candidate must be able to confirm the quality of the data by a number of means including researching customer computer databases. Candidate will be expected to develop methods to find and correct errors and omissions in the databases, as well as making the corrections in an efficient and reliable manner.
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to effectively use the EDS parts system.
- Ability to use MS Excel and/or Access to gather information from the database.
- Ability to collect and analyze on-board data from the database.
- Associates degree.
- Good computer skills.
- Excellent analytical & problem solving skills.
- A thorough knowledge of Customer engineering releasing/print systems.
- Fast learner Self-starting Good practical judgement.
- Effective communication skills.
- Bachelor degree (or equivalent) in an accredited Engineering or Computer Science curriculum.
- Advanced computer skills.
- Six Sigma Certified Black Belt.
- Specialty Corporate Product and Process Standards.
- 1E Specifications.
