Process and Procedure Writer

Overview
The process and procedure writer collaborates with management and department staff to develop standardized written processes and procedures for the Supply Chain Team.
The process and procedure writer is responsible for documenting, revising and editing existing processes and procedures helping to institutionalize processes and operational methods.
This position will require an individual that is able to work on multiple projects in parallel and handle numerous procedure writing tasks concurrently.

Experience and Skills
Previous successful experience in documenting process flows and procedures/work instructions using Microsoft Visio and Office suites required
Strong analytical skills, including the ability to understand and break down complex processes, develop process flows, and translate the process to writing
Extremely organized and productive optimizing the time in identifying, documenting, reviewing and publishing the various procedures
Ability to quickly learn and document selected Supply Chain processes and functions
High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and in a team environment to create documentation from concept to finished product
Demonstrated ability to respond quickly and constructively to changes or unexpected shifts in priorities
Ability to manage workload and meet challenging deadlines
Must have outstanding written and oral communication skills
Must have outstanding interpersonal skills and works well with people
4 Year College Degree Preferred
