Infrastructure Security Analyst

Job description:

The successful candidate for this role will be responsible for:

  • Assessments of the vulnerabilities and threats associated with new or in operation IT platforms
  • Co-ordination of activities and input from multiple sources in order to develop an accurate and business-relevant understanding and description of risk levels
  • Have compliance level and risks found reported and addressed to the responsible TS owner
  • Delivery of relevant and timely risk assessment reports in line with approved processes
  • Provision of consultancy services to assist in the development of remediation plans
  • Deliver services based on defined project timelines and provide input for regular reporting
  • Ensure development and documentation of all services and methodologies within the team
  • Review and improve processes both inter- and intradepartmental
  • The role will be functionally part of Infrastructure Risk Assessment Team, while being locally aligned with the relevant Regional IT Security APAC team
  • The role will be responsible for the provision of advisory and assessment services of the bank's infrastructures
  • The role may be engaged in a variety of advisory and assessment regional

Required Skills:

  • Experience with IT security products
  • 3 or more years experience of Information Security/Risk Management experience obtained in a large corporate environment, preferably financial services
  • Broad knowledge of technology generally and Information Security technology and methodologies particularly, including for example, ISO 27001/web server security/Firewalls/networks/encryption/PKI/TCP/IP/UNIX/Windows/PCI DSS etc.
  • In depth understanding of popular Operating System types and Network/Firewall infrastructure and protocols (eg UNIX, Windows, Cisco)
  • Excellent knowledge of information security and specifically, risk assessment principles
  • Experience of one or more popular IT security risk assessment methodologies and are familiar with the various regulatory requirements
  • Experience of using the Microsoft Office product set
  • University graduate in Computer Science or other Information Technology discipline
  • PLUS at least one of the following:
  • CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
  • CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)
  • CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor)

Desirable:

  • Experience in Defence-in-depth IT security assessment
  • Experience in financial services industry
  • Previous experience working with a virtual, geographically dispersed team, including issue resolution, negotiation, forecasting and planning.
  • Systems management or systems programming background
  • Security system administration experience
  • Project management
  • MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer)
  • MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional)
  • CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)
  • CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional)
