Description
Communications Officer with strong internal communications experience required for initial 12 month contract with public sector organisation in Edinburgh.
Duties will include:
- To support the development and implementation of co-ordinated communications plans
- To help implement the communications plans by developing effective, clear and simple communications to help promote the benefits of the programme
- To support the Communication Managers in the collation, drafting and distribution of programme news including regular bulletins and ad hoc updates as required.
- To help monitor and measure the effectiveness of the various communications.
- To develop and implement key aspects of the communications plans by creating and delivering a wide range of collateral through various channels.
- Work collaboratively to develop and quality control creative and inclusive internal communicative material and approaches in line with above plan, innovating to meet changing demand.
- Support on stakeholder management by developing and maintain stakeholder mapping documents and other key communications material.
- Work with key stakeholders, to develop, deliver and continuously improve appropriate and co-ordinated internal communications approaches.
Experience required:
- Internal communications experience
- Public sector experience preferred
- Excellent ability to analyse and communicate complex ideas and arguments, both orally and in writing
- Skilled in engaging and maintaining relaionships with internal and external stakeholders
