Description
We are currently searching for a Oracle SQL Developer to work in Amsterdam, The Netherlands for 6 months + extensions. This is a fantastic contract opportunity for a large retail client.
The ideal candidate must have the following skills:
* Strong analytical skills
* Good knowledge of Oracle (Oracle 9 is mainly used)
* Knowledge of Unix Shell Scripting
* Experience in developing interfaces (this is a must)
(the application that most of the interfaces must be developed with is Oracle (PL/SQL), uniface and "unix" ksh scripts. interfacing takes place through files and ftp)
* DBA experience with Oracle is a plus
* Experience with TMAP is a plus.
* Being able to cooperate within a team
We are looking for a Oracle SQL developer, preferably but not necessarily having affinity for DBA-work.
Contents of the function:
* Developing new interfaces for implementing applications
* Perform testing applications and interfaces
* Developing new functionality for existing applications
* The maintenance of the existing applications
* Management of Oracle databases
