Mechanical Engineer
My Client a leading Defence organisation based in Gosport is urgently seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer for a minimum of 12 months. This is a 12 month role working between the hours of 8am- 5pm Monday - Friday.
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer who is reasonably senior and able to work independently to progress a programme of work. They would be required to work on the design/procurement/interface of 4 pieces of kit for a project we are currently working on which would include a new motor drive to use in ship model experiments (submarines in this case); a new rotating LDV (Laser Doppler Velasometry) for use in one of our facilities, a large unsteady force module and a Hydrophone facility.
Must have:
- Mechanical/Design Engineering degree and previous experience of design/procurement/interface of pieces of kit for aircraft or defence projects.
