Role: EDI/BSA Engineer
Location: Hilversum,NL
Duration: 3-6 months+

JD:

  • The main focus area of the position is working with customers and business counterparts on small projects to implement Order2Cash links (PRICAT, ORDERS, ORDRSP, DESADV and INVOIC). This includes understanding and analysing Nike and customer's requirements and business processes, matching with technical capabilities, documentation, development, and testing. This involves working together with various other teams including Account Operations, the Customer, Finance, Customer Operations, Logistics, etc. Because of this, professional communication skills and the ability to tailor communication to the intended audience are very important.
  • Good understanding of overall Order-to-Cash process from business point of view and how different EDI messages support it.
  • Sterling Integrator 5.* - setup and review of trading partners, maps, business processes, schedules.
  • Sterling Integrator map editor - creation, review and troubleshooting of maps.
  • EDIFACT & X12 - experience with common transaction types
  • XML - basic understanding of the data format
  • Linux/UNIX experience - ability to search and analyze data on server using common basic commands, and to understand and troubleshoot Shell Scripts.
  • SAP - Basic understanding of common transactions to view sales orders, invoices, shipments, and related documents, master data, and partner profiles and various output conditions. Understanding of idocs.
  • Data transfer - understanding of commonly used solutions and protocols for data transfers including managed/hosted services, VANs, (S)FTP, AS2, X400 etc
  • Oracle SQL - basic select, insert and update queries
  • Perl - ability to understand and troubleshoot Perl scripts is a plus
