Oracle Financials Functional Consultant - SC Cleared
Duration: Initial 6 months
Location: London or Birmingham
EXCLUSIVE OPPORTUNITY: Sopra Steria Recruitment Ltd (a Sopra Steria company) provides recruitment and resourcing solutions to Sopra Steria, a leading European IT service provider.
Sopra Steria requires an Oracle Financials Functional Consultant with experience of key Oracle Financial modules for an initial 6 month contract.
In this role you will be working as an integral part of a R12 project team on a major implementation, this role will provide solid functional skills in the implementation of Oracle Financial modules, backed up by proven hands-on experience with a track record of multiple implementations.
The Oracle Financial Functional Consultant will be responsible for:
- Responsible for review, amendment of design documentation based on Oracle Financials
- Delivery of presales demonstrations and attendance at bid meetings with potential clients
- Able to lead a work stream including leading client workshops to demonstrate standard functionality, identifying gaps between requirements, and standard processing and development of a solution
- Keeping skills and knowledge up to date
- Ensuring close relationships with clients, colleagues and the wider Oracle community
Oracle Financial Functional Consultant Essential Skills
- Oracle Financials product knowledge: GL, FA, CE, AR, AP, Payments, iExp and ADI
- Experience of implementing in a shared service environment
- Experience in writing and reviewing MD050
- Experience of data migration
- The individual will have experience of AIM/OUM methodology and strong client management skills
- SC Security Cleared
Oracle Financial Functional Consultant Desirable Skills
- Good knowledge of Oracle eBusiness suite tables for Financials
- Understanding of Oracle reporting tools and products
