The aim of the role...

To support the planning, development, delivery and monitoring of specific loan product propositions and initiatives; ensuring that the product offering facilitates the acquisition and deepening of customer relationships and broader strategic business aims.

The role will be requiring you...

  • To support and deliver specific activities as part of the work to plan, develop, maintain and monitor product propositions for specific products, which can achieve the income and volume targets agreed with the business
  • To contribute to product and pricing strategies
  • To continually assess the performance of the product range, the regulatory landscape and external market trends and developments
  • To contribute to informed and sustainable recommendations across the products supported including innovations, improvements and interventions and to maintain the compliance of our product range
  • To develop effective and collaborative working relationships with key business/functional stakeholders and colleagues
  • To act as a point of reference/SME for the specific products supported
  • To support the end to end customer journey by engaging with the data and insights gathered about our customers, to make suggestions as to how changes to process or product could improve

The right candidate will have...

  • Experience in financial services and understanding of this sector, either in a front line or Back Office environment, including the regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Experience of complex projects/pieces of work and working effectively across business units and functions, while managing stakeholders and governance requirements
  • An understanding of the current offering for the products to be supported (loans & mortgages)
  • Well developed communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrates energy, drive and commitment to the role and the organisation and its values.
