Our public sector client have just re-released a Communications Officer requirement to join their team in Edinburgh on an initial 6-12-month contract.
Working in-line with the Communications Manager, successful candidates will be required to support the development & implementation of new communication plans across the division.
To be successful in this position, you will have prior experience in a similar Communications role, and previous knowledge & experience should include;
* Proven & demonstrable experience across the full Communications life cycle during large periods of change & transformation
* Previous experience working with colleagues and customers to create effective, division-wide communication plans.
* Experience working closely with Communications Managers in the creation and distribution of communications material including newsletters and e-bulletins etc
* Excellent stakeholder management & engagement experience
* Strong people-skills with the ability to work as part of a team, with a pro-active approach
* Previous experience in the Public Sector will be highly advantageous but is not essential
