Role: MS SQL DBALocation: North Dublin
Duration: 3-6 months daily rate contract

You will be managing multiple databases and platforms from SQL Server 2005, 2008 to Teradata, bringing an expert knowledge of data storage, data types, joins and database objects.
Your main responsibilities will be the analysis and tuning of databases io increase performance and efficiency, work alongside dedicated development teams to review design and implement improvements.
The location is easily accessible from the City Centre via public transport routes, and by car from the M50, N2, N3 and N4.
Key technical Skills:
- At least 3 years experience in Database Administration with large scale or multiple Databases with MS SQL Server 2005 or higher.
- Experience in Managing Back-up and Disaster Recovery
- Experience with Teradata V13, SAS Linux/Unix would be a distinct advantage
- Knowledge of data warehouse changes is highly desirable
