Front-End Web Developer
Contract: 2-3 Months
We’re looking for talented Front End Developers with a strong passion for the web. You will be involved in all stages of project development—from inception to deployment. A typical project involves creating and utilizing today’s tech-stacks including grunt, Angular, and Django. As a member of the Web Development team you will help with the build of sophisticated web applications for prominent, high traffic websites, each with their own unique challenges.

- Super Passionate about developing software
- Excellent HTML5, CSS, .js skills.
- Comfortable utilizing jQuery and working with Angular
- Challenging yourself with building accessibility standards compliant websites.
- Comprehends creative thinking.
- Work with the PM to provide estimates and schedules for technical activities.
- Participate in or lead the R&D phase for requirements gathering
- Analyze requirements and produce documentation for architectural recommendations and systems and code level design.
- Participate in the development of the different products and projects
- Provide hands on application design and coding for the complex or sensitive parts of the project
- Perform code reviews for standards, quality assurance and security audit purposes
- Consult with other projects within development teams and generally contribute your skills
- Ability to translate technical concepts to business requirements
- Address day-to-day and longer term technical issues and problems
- Multitask between competing priorities
- Mentor junior developers.
- Post Secondary diploma or equivalent experience
- Over 2-4 year of experience in Web Development
- Experience with:
- HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
- Version Control, such as GIT.
- Agile/SCRUM software development methodology
- Agile/SCRUM software development methodology
- Strong Oral and Written communication in English
- Work best in small teams and independently
