Description
Service engineer acts as the HCS technical lead and design authority for UC solution.
The scope of the role includes the following:
Responsible and point of contact for HCS design and architecture of E2E solution including integration of operating companies, design of customer build and integration, deployment of new features on HCS
Review and approve HLDs
Develop LLDs working together with other engineering teams
Develop communication matrices and change control documents (change details and configuration scripts) for implementation of the configuration changes on HCS platforms.
Implement configuration changes on HCS platforms during delivery of integration projects, customer deployments and build of new features
Optimisation and enhancements to the platforms design and configuration to ensure consistent deployments and ease of operations.
Support integration testing execution and troubleshooting of issues that are identified during testing
Support troubleshooting and resolution of major customer issues.
Required skills:
Very good level of SIP
Design and configuration experience with Cisco products including Cisco HCS
CCIE voice certification
Understanding of IP routing & switching
Very good troubleshooting skills
Experience in E2E design and integration of an FMC solution is preferred
Technical project management experience is a plus
Data Center certification is a plus
