Description
A growing business in the financial services sector requires a highly experienced Head of Procurement to help shape, develop and formalise the procurement function. To apply you must have significant experience working as a Head of Procurement within a Financial Services organisation.
The role requires both strategic thinking and liaising with the board as well as a hands on approach to deliver a best in class procurement function.
You will be responsible for:
- Working with relevant stakeholders to develop, shape and maintain group frameworks relating to procurement.
- Developing and maintaining appropriate controls and quality assurance.
- Reviewing existing agreements, determining commercial terms and leading negotiations with vendors.
- Regular review meetings with vendors and internal stakeholders to monitor performance and spend.
The role requires a track record of Head of Procurement assignments within Financial Services, Great stakeholder management skills and the gravitas to liaise with board members, a hands on approach who is used to significant change and significant experience of vendor management.
