Our client based in Perth CBD is looking for a Splunk Specialist to join their team of developers.
Your roles and responsibilities have covered a range of areas from the analysis, design, development, deployment and implementation point all the way through to operational support and maintenance of the Splunk platform
Key technical skills:
- Sub-searches.
- Lookup tables.
- How to query multiple indexes/sources
- Uses of 'join' in search.
- Index management/retention times
- Application creation
- Advanced XML/HTML techniques
- Use of stats functions
- Data models
- Pivot editor
- Search optimisation
Essential Skills
- Proficient (as a minimum) knowledge of SPLUNK with minimum of 2-4 years experience
- Knowledge of SQL, Java & Linux Scripting
- Good technical troubleshooting skills/root cause analysis.
- A Bachelor degree (Tertiary Qualification) in Computing or Information systems or related field or equivalent industry experience
