A leading Pharmaceutical/Biotech Manufacturer and provider of Research and Development is currently looking to expand its team during an exciting period of growth.The role:
• The role holder will be a highly skilled microbiologist, providing a proficient service in the analysis of samples and support process, using a range of microbial/chemical techniques.
• Carry out testing using appropriate Sterility techniques.
• Approves batches/monitoring, ensuring all documentation is complete, accurate and the material is suitable for intended use
• Performs analysis to support method or Product validation.
• Analysis is undertaken safely and compliantly, meeting all required standards of EHS legislation and GMP, such as COSHH, Risk Assessments and DSE.
• Participates in audits of Laboratory systems, in inspection readiness activities and preparation for external audits.
Requirements:
• Highly proficient in Microbiological techniques, to include Rapid Microbiology and sterility testing.
• Has a keen eye for detail and is readily able to identify procedural or GMP errors.
• Is able to communicate effectively with colleagues and Managers and has previous experience working within a project matrix structure.
• Has an understanding of regulatory requirements, and registration processes.
• Microbiology degree or degree in a related biological discipline.
