Our Financial Services client based in Swindon is seeking a Senior Risk Manager -Credit Risk/QRM/Stress Testing.
As a member of the Retail Stress Testing team this role would be managing the development of Retail Credit Risk stress testing capabilities on QRM to deliver financial stress tests across all Retail portfolios.
Overview of the Senior Risk Manager Contract role
- Management of the Stress Testing capacities to deliver financial stress tests. As a member of the Retail Stress Testing team this role would be managing the development of Retail Credit Risk stress testing capabilities on QRM to deliver financial stress tests across all Retail portfolios
- Managing a portfolio through the various stages of the credit risk cycle
- A proven track record of applying project, business and technical skills to real commercial business problems that have delivered tangible and quantifiable business benefits.
- Capturing, analysing, documenting and validating business and technical requirements across a varied range of developments.
- Have experience in leading, motivating and developing a team of analysts.
- Have the ability to juggle a number of activities ensuring delivery to agreed timescales and standards.
Key skills required for the Change Management Consultant
- Demonstrate a proven track record in risk management, preferably with a number of years' experience in Retail Secured product area. This should include experience of managing a portfolio through the various stages of the credit risk cycle
- Demonstration of strong communication skills combined with a friendly, professional approach, and an ability to interact and influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- An aptitude in capturing, analysing, documenting and validating business and technical requirements across a varied range of developments.
- Solid experience in producing written documents, with strong presentation and IT skills.
- Knowledge and use of databases and analysis tools, particularly SAS & SQL is advantageous, but certainly not essential.
- Knowledge and use of QRM is advantageous, but not essential.
