Description
Looking for an experienced Web Developer to work within the Moible and Web Application team for a 4 month contract opportunity.
Applicants must have strong skills in the following:
- Web Content Management systems (eg Sitecore (preferred), SharePoint).
- Programming experience in or understanding of ASP.NET with the 2.0-4.5 framework, C#, Visual Studio, xHTML, JavaScript and CSS.
- Knowledge and/or experience of Database systems SQL, Access.
- Knowledge and/or experience in Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), Open Data Protocol (ODATA), JavaScript Object Notation (JSON).NET MVC, XSLT.
The duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Contributing to the design, building and ongoing maintenance of the externally facing (public) website and agency's Intranets;
- Assisting the Web Developer with coding, development and unit testing of web application software;
- Assisting the Web Developer of the Department's Internet Broadcasting and mobile application capability;
- Application of WCAG compliance techniques;
- Providing advice to business users as required;
- Contributions to the continual improvement of production services, development environments and operational procedures;
- Assisting with the analysis of technical issues and processes including change control; and
- Maintenance of technical documentation.
