Description
My public sector client is keen to recruit motivated and capable senior financial accountant to lead a large team.
You will ideally have public sector experience and have the following experience:
*Qualified accountant
*Experience of preparing statutory accounts in conformity with relevant accounting standards.
*Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence others
*Advanced Excel skills
*High level attention to detail
*Detailed knowledge of the Financial Reporting Manual (FReM)
*Experience of producing Central Government resource accounts
*Knowledge and experience of government budgeting and estimates
*Experience with consolidated accounts
*Excellent stakeholder management skills
*Experience of engaging across all levels of an organisation
Work will include:
Ensuring resources are in place to meet required deadlines for your team.
Provide support and instruction to team members (including escalation of issues to SRO where necessary)
Management of a small team of interims
