Description
My public sector client is keen to recruit motivated and capable financial accountants to join a large team.
You will ideally have public sector experience and have the following experience:
Essential:
. Qualified accountant
. Experience of preparing statutory accounts in conformity with relevant accounting standards.
. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence others
. Advanced Excel skills
. High level attention to detail
Desirable:
. Audit background
. 2 years post qualification experience
. Detailed knowledge of the Financial Reporting Manual (FReM)
. Experience of producing Central Government resource accounts
. Knowledge and experience of government budgeting and estimates
. Experience with consolidated accounts
. Excellent stakeholder management skills
. Experience of engaging across all levels of an organisation
