Senior Finance Manager - Financial Reporting
Senior Finance Manager required to take on Head of Reporting role for leading financial services organisation.
This high profile, challenging interim role will see you lead the critical and to time delivery of the organisation's internal results and external reporting, including statutory accounts, IMS and regulatory reporting.
You will engage and build relationships with senior leaders across the business to ensure an appropriate focus on the needs of financial reporting. You will lead the production of the organisation's monthly results and will drive the delivery of external reporting in accordance with statutory and regulatory requirements. You will ensure that robust controls are developed which will ensure accuracy of internal and external reporting from the team and you will lead the review of existing reporting and aim to drive improvements to processes as well as streamline activities. You will also lead the management of fixed asset reporting within the general ledger and fixed asset register, and lead activity to identify and evaluate opportunities for improvements in terms of quality or efficiency.
To be considered you must be a qualified Accountant with significant Post Qualified Experience. You must have excellent experience of external statutory reporting in a corporate environment, preferably within financial services, and will have a strong focus on delivery with a proven ability to overcome obstacles and challenges in delivering on commitments. You will possess excellent team leadership and organisational skills and will be able to drive and motivate teams to deliver a high volume of reporting to strict reporting timelines. Strong analytical and problem solving skills and effective stakeholder management skills, particularly at a senior level, are required and you must be a clear and effective communicator. This is a key lead role in a team of 20 and would suit an adaptable and versatile individual.
